Version 1.0 — Early Access is over! (80% off until Friday)
Today is a big day: PapaiArt Tools - Level Modeller has officially left Early Access. This release is version 1.0 — thank you to everyone who tested, reported bugs, and shaped the tool along the way.
To celebrate, the launch discount stays live a little longer: 80% off until Friday, July 10. If you've been waiting to grab it, this is the moment.
What's new in 1.0
Walk Mode — explore your level in first person
The headline feature of 1.0: press Shift+W (or use View → Walk Mode (FPS)) and drop straight into your level as if it were a game.
- WASD to move, Space to jump, Shift to run, mouse wheel to adjust walking speed
- Real collision against your built geometry — walls block you, and you slide along them naturally
- Gravity, jumping, and automatic step-up on stairs and small ledges
- Fell off the level? You respawn right where you entered Walk Mode
- Esc returns to your editor camera exactly as you left it; Enter exits but keeps the walked viewpoint — great for framing screenshots
- A clean crosshair + on-screen help strip so you always know the controls
Negative Wireframe toggle on the toolbar
The Negative Wireframe view (previously only in the View menu) now has its own one-click toggle button in the viewport toolbar, so you can flip it on and off without breaking your flow.
What's next
- 0 is a milestone, not a finish line. Development continues — and your feedback matters more than ever. See you in the comments!
